Lost some of the notes quickly, possibly my chemistry

I have quite a few other perfume oils from Sand + Fog and love using them after a shower and to layer with my perfumes. This was a burst of juicy pineapple, fresh citrus, and creamy coconut when I first applied, but this was VERY short-lived. On my skin, those notes quickly vanished and turned very woody, but also a little bitter or sour smelling. I will try layering with other perfumes that do not have a woody dry down and see if that helps. Thank you for offering such top quality perfume oils and home fragrances!
